Serbian Railways separation starting with the 1st of July

Serbian Railways reforming process has been launched and will be carry out over a three-year period. The first step will be taken this year with the separation of the company into four entities which are expected to start operating with the 1st of July, stated Dеjan Trifunović, State Secretary in the Ministry of Civil Engineering, Transport and Infrastructure.

“The first step is to divide the company into four entities – Žеlеznicе AD (Railways AD), the rail passenger operator, rail freight operator and infrastructure manager.
